Parts of Eye

Eye Socket

The eye socket refers to the hole in the skull where the eyeball sits.

Brow Ridge

The top edge of the hole has a ridge that’s called the brow ridge.

Eyelids

The eyeball is covered by a top & bottom lid.

Tear Duct

At the inner side of the lids, there is a tear duct.

Sclera

The white portion of the eyeball is called the sclera.

Iris, Pupil & Cornea

The window to our soul is made up of the Iris (which is colored portion), the pupil ( the black dot) & the cornea, which is a transparent cover shaped like a contact.

All these little shapes make up the eye, but it’s important to first understand about these little parts.
